Young Dancers / Introductory
ClassDescription
I'm Two, I'm Terrific (DNCE 9266) This class is geared toward two year old's who need a delightful, thirty-minute class filled with activities and fun games.
Creative Movement (DNCE 9311) This class will introduce your child to basic motor skills. The student will learn fun and creative movement. The class uses props and toys to explore dance. This is a delightful thirty-minute class filled with activities and dance games.
Tumbling for Tots (DNCE 9272) Your child will experience 45 minutes practicing basic tumbling skills, which will help your child to improve balance, coordination, flexibility, and strength. We will also work on creative movement along with props. No shoes required.
Ballet/Tap/Tumbling (DNCE 9254) This is a great introductory class to allow your child to discover what they are interested in. Students will learn basic skills in ballet, tap and tumbling. This class teaches posture, grace, coordination, dancing to the beat & developing flexibility.

Ballet
Pre-Ballet I (DNCE 9273) Your child will be introduced to the love of moving to music, increasing body/spatial awareness, and balance. Rhythm and beginning dance techniques will be incorporated using games, props, and other musical activities.
Primary Ballet (DNCE 9306) This primary ballet class will introduce the young dancer to correct posture and technique, proper ballet vocabulary, short combinations, and beginning character dance. The goals in this class are to develop the love of movement and gain self assurance.
Primary Ballet/Ballet I (DNCE 9247) Intended for the young dancer; an introduction to correct posture & technique, proper ballet vocabulary, short combinations, and beginning character dance. Intended to develop a love of movement while gaining self-assurance and strength.
Ballet II & III (DNCE 9185) Students will progress steadily learning additional steps, turns, combinations, character dance, and vocabulary for ballet. Students are challenged to maintain technique while increasing their skills and stamina.
Ballet/Tap II (DNCE 9291) This class is geared toward the beginner with some dance experience. The students will further their vocabulary in ballet and tap. The steps will become more difficult and we will be connecting the intricate steps together with emphasis on technique.
Ballet IV/V (DNCE 9186) This class will advance the student to more difficult barre and centre exercises that stress the importance of technique, increase the vocabulary of steps, and introduce beats. Goals are to give the dancer challenging enchainments and to build strength
Intermediate/Advance Ballet (DNCE 9256) Students will be challenged to learn advanced barre and center exercises to increase their endurance, ability, and technique (advanced beats & how to connect steps fluidly) while learning multiple variations. Doctor's pointe authorization required.
Advanced Ballet (DNCE 8178) Continuing instruction for students who already have ballet experience; students will learn new vocabulary, steps, and technique. Students should have at least 4 previous years of ballet (not including pre-ballet). Advanced students may attend on pointe.
Adult Ballet (DNCE 8572) This class is designed for the adult with prior ballet experience who would like to refresh their ballet skills. Class will consist of barre exercises, stretching exercises, enchainements, and combinations across the floor.
Beginning/Intermediate Pointe (DNCE 9301) Class begins with a warm up, followed by barre exercises. Students will work on intermediate vocabulary of steps including some enchainements. This point class will be adjusted to meet the needs of the students. Doctor's permission note must be on file.
Intermediate/Adv Pointe (DNCE 9248) Designed for students with 2 or more years of pointe, this class will expand their experience with ballet variations while reinforcing the mechanics of good ballet technique.
Liturgical Dance (DNCE 9243) Students will learn liturgical dance by means of floor barre, various stretches, as well as artistic and expressive movements.

Hip Hop
ClassDescription
Kids Hip Hop (DNCE 9307) This class is a great introduction to Hip-Hop for young students. This class breaks down the basics of Hip-Hop for dancers to understand and enjoy. If your child is a free spirit, this class will help them to develop their own individuality.
Youth Hip Hop (DNCE 9244) This class is a great way to further a students' Hip-Hop knowledge. This is a high energy class to get your child moving and grooving to music. They will learn to work as a team and also develop individuality with their free-style movements.
Teen/Adult Hip Hop (DNCE 8825) This is a high energy dance class. This class if or the first-time dancer or one who has taken several years of dancing. This class will continue their knowledge of difficult dance moves while learning new moves. The choreography will be more intricate.

Tap & Jazz

Beginning Jazz (DNCE 9309) This class is for the beginner to introduce basic jazz skills with exercises in the centre and across the floor in a creative, fun way!
Beginning Tap & Jazz (DNCE 9188) This beginners class will introduce various basic tap skills and jazz exercises. We will work on simple combinations in the centre and across the floor. Tap will each the students rhythms with their feet and jazz will get them dancing to the beat.
Tap/Jazz (DNCE 9189) This beginner class will further your child's tap and jazz vocabulary and skills. We will work on more difficult combinations in the center and across the floor. In tap and jazz your child will progress and learn new steps.
Advanced Jazz (DNCE 8206) This class is designed to increase the student's proficiency in jazz with centre jazz exercises and combinations that increase the student's flexibility. Students will concentrate on correct technique and movements as the perform combinations.
